Folks: Look what I ran across from "Trolleymotion" accidentally! Siemens is doing experiments with trolley trucks. If highways get trolley wires for trucks, perhaps intercity trolley buses can use the same overhead and this will encourage trolleybus use. Also, Swedish videos provided showing historic trolley trucks of the past. All of this will come in handy if peak oil is reached.

Thanks Sarah for your kind words. Even though I do not have a reference to give you, I found out this week via the internet that Germany plans to string trolley truck wires over 1000's of km of their roadway for TROLLEY TRUCKS. If these trucks have "in motion charging", the battery can then extend the range of off wire motion. This is really exciting. I wish new trolleybus systems with wires would be set up. Tramway Null(0)
